Per la prima volta dal lancio avvenuto nel Natale 2011, PlayStation Vita è riuscita a ottenere vendite superiori rispetto al rivale Nintendo 3DS. Merito della strategia aggressiva attuata da Sony in quest’ultimo periodo, comprensiva di taglio prezzi ufficiale e importanti uscite, tra tutte Soul Sacrifice, esclusiva attesa in Europa per il prossimo maggio. Proprio il titolo realizzato in collaborazione con Inafune si è posizionato al secondo posto con circa 92.000 copie (e sarebbe primo se si considera anche il Double Pack United Front, al decimo posto con 22.000 copie circa), dietro solo a Hatsune Miku per PlayStation 3. Sul podio anche Uta no Prince-Sama: All Star per PSP.
Al quinto posto troviamo un’altra novità targata PS Vita, si tratta del remake di Tales of Hearts che ha debuttato con circa 55.000 copie. Si vede anche Far Cry 3 su PlayStation 3, settimo con poco più di 33.000 unità. Per quanto riguarda l’hardware, troviamo appunto PS Vita, che migliora leggermente rispetto la settimana precedente tanto da battere il solito Nintendo 3DS. In leggero calo PlayStation 3, mentre sale PSP. Ancora numeri in flessione per Wii U, in seria difficoltà.
